Yeah, the list of things it works well on is quite narrow. There is a google spreadsheet with compatibility somewhere. I was under the impression retina pad was far superior but I never bought it. Also moved to another app that was native ipad for the app I wanted to make fullscreen.

Sorry, I meant Oracle have discontinued their Oracle database for OSX.. the last release for OSX was Oracle 10g. Oracle is now 11g.
Agreed - they aren't particularly pretty but since OO v3 things have got better with the use of Aqua. However, I'd rather them look ugly and have them not available on OSX at all...

I submitted a request to my old boss a while back for a triple 18" LCD for $28,000 about a year ago. (I was told I could have the monitor or my job, but not both!) Seems like prices on these high end LCDs are really falling fast

4.3.1 didn't bring much but 4.3 brought improvements on AirPlay, safar, added home sharing options, iPad slider switch option, and added the hotspot feature.

I am in the same boat...still on 4.2.1
The slide switch is what has me itching to upgrade. But it has taken me a long time to get things back like I had it on 3.2 when I finally upped to 4.2.1.
Hotspot may also be necessary if ATT continues to crack down on those os use Mify on 4.2.1. Is there any substance to the rumor that they can't really isolate those using MyFi on 4.3.1?

a cool key combo i accadentially discovered not to long ago is the command + ~ this will cycle through the open windows of the current program. so if you have 3 windows in safari open it will only cycle through them and not go to another program.
Actually its the ` not ~, since ~ would require the Shift key :D

I am a little concerned here that you say it won't be able to do something as simple as streaming a video from Netflix. What is the constraint. This is huge for my because I do tend to watch a lot of streaming Netflix on my primary machine (Which at the moment is a Mini with 2G of Ram hooked to a acer 26" monitor).....

Where are you experiencing this problem? And what version of OS X are you running? I have 10.2.6 and tried this at the login screen and could only get in by typing my proper password.

Somehow its just doesn't sound like a good name for a laptop. Maybe the whole "There's something in the air" is relevant to the [insert feeling here] there is going to be after a new product(s) is/are presented. My thoughts only.Im still anxious to see what EL Jobso has for us fanboys!

Heres a screen shot. As you can see, pointed at by the red arrow, that it opens connection but freezes immediately. its gotta be a simple solution, i can justfeel it. why would it take that I reconnect to my site again in order for it to accept an upload?

I have a pair of these now too, and highly recommend them. I had a pair of Shure e3c's that bit the dust, and used the $79 apple in-ears for a while after that, but these are by far the best.

That's really too bad. Is there some reason I'm not aware of that they can't send 100%? I can't imagine why anyone would not donate directly after learning that.
